- What counts as an event?
- Any tracked action: a page view, a click, a server-side event. We count what Vela reasons over, deduped, and show you the running total before you ever hit a limit.
- Do you sample?
- No on Pro and Scale. Answers run over your full event stream, so a confidence range means what it says. Free retains 30 days unsampled.
- Is everyone really a seat?
- Yes. Pricing is on events, not licences, because an analytics tool only earns its keep if the whole team can ask. We’re not going to charge you to let an engineer check a number.
- Can we leave?
- Your events are yours. Export the raw stream or sync it to your warehouse at any time, on any plan. No lock-in on the data the answers are built from.
