“We used to spend the first hour of every incident arguing about what the dashboard meant. Now someone asks Vela and we’re debating the fix instead of the numbers.”

Dana Okoro · Head of Product, Northwind

Northwind had analytics. What it didn’t have was answers. Six dashboards, three of them out of date, and a standing weekly meeting whose main output was “let’s look into it”.

The team pointed Vela at the same event stream feeding their warehouse and started asking the questions the meeting kept raising. Within a fortnight, the meeting stopped being about finding the number and started being about deciding what to do.

The first real win was an activation dip nobody could explain. Vela traced it to a required field added in a mobile release, in one screen, in the time it took to read it. The fix shipped the next morning.

1screen to a root cause, from six dashboards
70% fewer “let’s look into it” follow-ups
2weeks to retire the weekly metrics meeting

“It answers the question I was about to spend an afternoon on, before I’ve made coffee.”

Sam Reyes Growth Engineer, Cohort

“The confidence range is the bit I didn’t know I needed. It stops us shipping on a coincidence.”

Priya Nair PM, Ledgerline

“Our analysts didn’t lose their jobs. They stopped doing the boring half of them.”

Tom Whitfield Data Lead, Tessellate
